Assistant Director of FINTRAC
Luc Beaudry is Assistant Director of FINTRAC, Canada’s Financial Intelligence Unit, in Ottawa.
He has overall responsibility for FINTRAC’s Strategic Intelligence and Policy Sector and sits on the agency’s executive committee. Mr. Beaudry represents FINTRAC on several international organisations, including the Financial Action Task Force and the Egmont Group of FIUs. With FINTRAC since the beginning of the agency in 2001, he spent most of his years in the production of financial intelligence. Prior to joining FINTRAC, Mr. Beaudry held various positions in national security in Canada and abroad. He graduated from Montreal University and the National School of Public Administration.
